Brand new boxed Weber carburettor kit for the Land Rover Series 3 / 2a. This is to replace the Zenith and Solex carb.

Everything is included in the kit the complete the replacement. The Zenith Carb replacement does not require and additional parts. Genuine Weber carburettors always have'Weber' and the'W' logo CAST INTO the carburettor body. They also have'LCN' and'Made in Spain' cast into the body since 2003. No genuine Weber carburettors have ever been made in China, examples of inferior copies are once again turning up, the slightly cheaper price may seem attractive, however you will spend a lot more trying to get them to work.

Some examples of poor design and manufacturing include : surfaces poorly finished that do not seal properly, threads that strip easily, castings found to be porous and made of poor quality alloys. Bearings and spindles are not accurately aligned, progression holes are not accurately drilled. Jet seats not sealed and the jets themselves of varying incorrect diameters.
