Land Rover Series 2a

  
So the time has come to sell my Series 2a. I have owned it for the last 11 years. It was my first car at 17, brought as a wreck and slowly done up over the years. For the past 5 years its been in the barn looking ever more sorry for it self. As I no longer have time to continue with it, I would rather someone else got to enjoy it. The compulsory welding on the chassis, maybe a hub seal, and a full lube of every moving part.

However, with the new MOT rules, I believe that it is now MOT exempt. There is a huge list of work done, but I will list what I can remember. Reconditioned engine fitted about 1000 miles ago.

Brakes, master cylinder and all lines replaced. Completely re-wired (following original wiring diagram).

Parabolic suspension and gas shock absorbers. Bulkhead is in fantastic condition. Rear crossmember is also fantastic. Front chassis legs and cross member replaced about 500 miles ago.

Rest of the chassis is standard for this sort of age. I counted 2 or 3 patches that need doing. Drop me a message for any more info. The picture is from last summer. There is also a winch included thats not fitted in the picture.
