Ex military Land Rover series 3 109 only 52900 miles from new! Only 2 former keepers registered on V5.
Mot til 22 October 2018 with no advisories whatsoever. 2.25 litre petrol engine starts on the button and runs very well. She is fitted with full hood and tonneau so can be driven totally open in the better weather. Fascinating history with this vehicle.
1sr registered as18 KB 56 and painted in infra red reflecting Matt green. Served with 8th signal regiment in March 1983 and then on to Royal Army Ordnance Corps in Northern Ireland and later to 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards. The full Army Merlin itemised records are in the large history file. The vehicle then left service in 1995. Following work has recently been carried out.
Brand new hood and tonneau. 2 Mazda MX5 mk 2 seats fitted with inertia reel seat belts which fit very well. New front floodlight light bar to front.
The chassis is rock solid and treated to preserve it for another 35 Years service! The original spinning amber and blue lights and sirens from its airfield days have been left on but can be easily removed. All in all a fantastic vehicle with an amazing fully documented history which includes BMI Heritage Trust manufacture certificate. And the heater works really well! Performed perfectly in the recent snowy weather and embarrassed some much newer 4 wheel drive vehicles that were struggling. For any further information on this British icon please call me (Adrian).
