Land Rover Series 3 200 TDI conversion hard top ready for winter

  
This is a very nice little Land Rover! Believed to have been originally.

To the factory this is a very late series 3 with 90 style rear body cappings. It has been modified over the years to a spec that means it will be a great green laner or off road toy! I believe it was built as a diesel 2.25, quicker to walk... , now it has a 200 TDI from a Discovery. And pulls like theres no tomorrow!

Gear box has an overdrive. Rear axle is now a Salisbury - no weak half shafts here!

Its got PAS (I think a Disco box) that makes it lovely to drive, really nothing like a normal series 3. On the front is a very rare Bellview 8074 winch - the forerunner of the Warn 8274. I will reduce the price slightly if this isnt wanted.

She breathers through a nicely made raised air intake and runs on aftermarket wheels with nice. I have just spent a small fortune getting her MOT'ed (please see MOT history) including a bit of welding and extensive work to the brakes.

Thats the good, remember it is an old Land Rover and has marks on every panel! The drivers door needs a slam (it needs adjusting), the dashboard is a tip, the paint faded I like it!

, she wanders on the road (doubt the tyres are balanced) and Je5u5 does the 200 TDI vibrate on idle!!! She is desperate for some waxoil or similar on her chassis. It is a fantastic toy that with a little work could be made very pretty or just use it, if! We do get a bad winter this will be the most fun out there!
