Edit: also its had a stage 1 (9:1) cylinder head job, electronic points, and I've got a wad of receipts down to the nuts bolts and washers. Usable 2¼ltr Series 3 station waggon with safari roof, running both petrol and LPG (auto gas). I run her most often on lpg which is half the price of petrol (it has done well over 200miles to each full tank of gas). Fitted with a galvanised chassis so non of the usual rust issues. Really quite straight Landy outside, not your usual farm vehicle.
Restored interior, recent new tub floor and painted straight dash & cabin, tidy headlining, all round very nice restored interior. Minor issues: worn synchro downshifting in to 3rd, never bothered me & petrol tank could do with a clean. Very tidy engine bay, engine pulls clean and strong, with a Weber carb fitted, also being a petrol it's quiet (compared to a diesel you can have a conversation). Bonus is Range rover diff fitted, allowing decent highway cruising, better top speed & she'll cruise happily at 65.
Galvanized rock sliders side sills. Super bright LED indicators, brake and side lights.
Hinged rear wheel carrier (takes the weight off the door). Mud & snow tires, with good tread. New wheel cylinders and recent brake overall.
New front Series 3 seats. Electronic fan (original static included). Really is a very smart useable Landy with receipt history & fresh MOT (the mot'er commented yesterday on how rust free & tidy it is).The last 2 owners plus myself have taken good care & time on it, sad to see her go.
