This is the listing for my 1982 Land Rover series 3, 88 inch (named Lizzie). This is an exceptionally original Land Rover with just 63,000 miles on the clock that has recently been refurbished to its former glory and with little to no use since this was carried out in 2017. At this time a great deal of work was carried out with the land rover being almost completely stripped down, some of the work carried out was as follows. Full new set of new Exmoor trim seats. New Undercover Covers canvas hood. New galvanised metal hoops for the canvas. New door tops with new glass and gutters/runners in all windows. Professional panel beating of the roof and wings. New chassis outriggers professionally welded. Full chassis treatment with Buzzweld paint both externally and internally (this is very good paint which I believe cost a couple of hundred pounds). High quality sound proof lining on roof. New rubber seals and gators. New halogen lights, chain guards, l and right hand galvanised inner wing panel, galvanised steering box guard, galvanised hoop lockers, wing mirrors, tub mat, foot well matts (if wanted), new grill, fog light. Fresh paint on all panels. All body work is original except the door tops and the outer wing skins with absolutely no filler in any of the bodywork. New MOT will be completed shortly/ before collection. The only potential weaknesses of this land rover is the engine is a little smoky, I believe this is mostly due to it not being taken for a long run over the last 4 years and with use it should improve. This is nothing dissimilar to most 2.25 diesel land rover engines and like all land rovers they are not renowned for their speed. There are also some small runs in inconspicuous places on the paint work.

Overall this is a very tidy vehicle that is in great condition, it will be sad to see it go but it is has turned out to be surplus to requirement. Despite not using it a great deal it has been started regularly and has never failed to start in the last 4 years since the initial mechanical work was carried out. With its home being a sealed barn with it a proper dust cover over it no rust has brewed over this time and the refurbishment has stayed fresh especially with it having never been out in the rain since refurbishment.
