Land rover series 3 88 1975 galvanised chassis

  
Here we have my series 3 88 Land Rover. It benefits from a galvanised chassis, so no worries about future rot.

Newly rebuilt front axle including swivels, bearings, seals and drive members. New front and rear prop shafts.

Good tyres all round (spare isnt great). Front and rear bench seats in good order. New handbrake shoes and rear transfer case seal. Paint and bodywork is in great condition. Defender tubeless steel rims giving you more options on tyres.

All oils recently changed, gearbox and transfer, front and rear axles, and engine. I will include in the sale 25l of engine oil and about 10l of gear oil. The engine always starts and runs well. Gears change as they should and the 4wd and hi-low ratios work fine.

Everything seems to work on the dash. I recently fixed the Speedo. The cable had just popped out of the back. It looks like it had been like this for quite some time as the previous mots have the same mileage on.

Door tops could do with being patched up or replaced. Although the brakes function and do stop you, they arent the best and if I was keeping it Id have a look at them.

There is a couple of rust bubbles coming on the top corners of the bulkhead. I dont think its anything to worry about. Overall this is a lovely Land Rover and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. Ready to jump in and go wherever you like. Please feel free to come and have a good look around it.
