Land Rover Series 3 88 SWB 1981 2.25 Petrol

A 1981 Series 3 88 SWB 2.25 petrol in nice original condition. The body is quite straight with a few small dings. It has had has a bit of a respray at some point in the past but this has blended in well for a "care-worn patina". The chassis has had various patches but is in good sturdy condition. The bulkhead is good other than a small crusty edge behind the pedals that was an advisory in the last MOT. The engine is very good, starts and runs well and has had an unleaded conversion. The door top on the driver's side is getting a bit wobbly and will need replacing at some point but the window channels etc. Are all new - a cheap easy job. Good brakes, parabolic springs(2 years old), new exhaust rear box, tyres OK, transmission and axles all work as they should. I have fitted halogen headlights, which are excellent, but have the original sealed beam units if you want them. Has folding rear bench seats in the back.

The front seats are past their best (but are very easy to replace) and there are a few cracks and holes in the dash. There is also a crack in the rear PVC window but his has been taped up and is serviceable and sealed.

Therwise the interior is good, I. Have fitted a leather steering wheel cover and it has the usual Land Rover equipment spec of... This has been my daily car for 2.5 years and it has never let me down.
