The Land Rover was in service in Northern Ireland from April 1980 to October 1986 it was in the 4th Royal Green Jackets and its army registration was 17 HF 67. The Land Rover was in daily use up to last September and is in very original condition with all 24v system still intact, it even has the radios in the front wings, aerials under bonnet tool box middle battery cover ammo boxes fire extinguishers etc.
The Land Rover has had some subtle upgrades it's has parabolic springs all round, electric kenlowe fan roll bar , exmoor trim front cloth seats with head rests but also comes with standard black vinyl seat pads, also has disc brakes all round but still has the drums back plates cylinders if needed to be put back to standard. It has also has the head converted to run on unleaded petrol. It will need some welding to front dumb iron and drivers side outrigger the same with rear cross member and some small work to bulkhead. It will also need rear number plate light for mot , I have recently given all the brakes a service calipers clean and sliders all clean and copper greased. This s a rare original military vehicle and once restored would give hours of enjoyment not to mention a great investment. For more information please call 07813994701.
