Land rover series 3 lightweight 1979 project

  

Complete with V5 Come view to make up your own mind up, I've nothing to hide, it's a old landy that was stripped to properly repair the chassis and lack of time forces me to sell it to someone who will appreciate it and given the time it needs. The landy is stripped so as to be able to repair the chassis, which has been done and done well. The chassis has had the rot cut out amd fresh pieces welded in, any existing patches have been tidied up but the chassis is as solid as it can be now and will look well with some paint on it.

Ther rest of the landy is here too, 2.25 petrol engine gear box, axles with springs, doors, hard top, rear tub, windscreens, bulkhead. Has freewheeling hubs The bulkhead require a small amount of repair, but is obviously off and can be easily repaired and fixed back on. I don't have the time and this easy project would be better off to another enthusiast to complete. Just a big meccano kit now to paint and fit back together. Engine is free and was running prior to removal, the engine has been fired up since removal too and has been run up on the pallet it strapped to.

And finding out that too is goosed. Viewing welcomed and encouraged, nothing to hide, it is what it is and it looked pretty good prior to strip down, but if it weren't stripped and the chassis was repaired in situ then it wouldn't have been properly repaired in my opinion. While it's in this state I'd personally renew all brake lines, fuel lines.....
