Land Rover Series 3. Overdrive. Safari Roof. Really nice straight, GOOD EXAMPLE

  

First registered in May 1982. This is a really nice, well cared for Series 3, 2.25 Diesel. None of your normal dents and marks, just extremely straight on all panels. If you are looking for a very smart example, please study the pictures and compare this to other examples listed on here.

CHASSIS IS IN EXCELLENT RUST FREE CONDITION. I CANT SEE ANY WELDING THAT HAS EVER BEEN DONE.

Recently fitted brand new BOSCH heavy duty battery. It is that clean and straight, I know it will pass. 3 good seats up front, 1 bench seat in the back, and a good big storage unit is fitted on the other side in the rear. This can easily be taken out if you prefer to fit yourself another bench seat. Turn the key to preheat for 20 seconds on first start up of the day, and she purrs into life. We have recently used this whilst our Discovery was having its clutch done, to pull a trailer with 2 round bales of hay on, and it honestly didn't miss a beat. It will drive you anywhere, so don't let distance put you off. Interior is very clean and in good condition. Safari top headlining is all good too. Gearbox is as it should be and overdrive working well.

Mot is until the end of May 2017. Current mileage showing is 78,511 miles. I have some recent old mots in the history.... All goes to show just how reliable and trustworthy this Land Rover is.

17,500 miles covered since 2013. I don't have much of a history file with it, but what I do have is an invoice from Paddock spares in 2014 for a new radiator and both rear springs. Bulkhead has had older repairs both sides at the tops and have lasted well.

Paintwork looks to be an older respray which is very presentable but has imperfections up close. It suits the Land Rover.

Don't turn up and say the paint has imperfections, I have been honest and told you already. Chassis is in very good order. Overall as you can see this is a very nice desirable example.
