Land rover series 3, petrol. Immaculate

  
Hi, here for sale is my lovely 1979 Land Rover series 3. I have owned this for a couple of years now and last winter it underwent a make over/ renovation. It was painted in 2k deep bronze green inside and out. New carburetor & ignition system.

Lwb wheels blasted and painted. New steering bits and bobs. Plus more to much to list.

I use it regularly and is a great to drive. I have owned quite a few and know them well. It really drives as good as it looks. The steering is nice and light and precise.

The brakes are very good and sharp. The engine starts at a flick of the key as it should and Doesnt smoke etc etc. The drive train is also as good 4wd Hi/Low. No clutch judder , banging diffs or transmission. Everything works as it should even the heater which is quite surprising. I have fitted a kenlow electric fan so its cold in the summer and hot in the winter which helps. It also comes fitted with period rear work lights and freewheeling hubs.

The tyres are 750x16 which helps raise the gearing and make it more capable. The interior is nice with no rips holes etc in the dash.

New door tops and door cards. The other is a on going project. The millage shows 43,000. I have quite a few old mots and history and believe this to be correct considering the way it drives.

It has just passed its mot with flying colours and needs nothing. Viewing recommended, it is kept on a farm so will need to be arranged. There is a couple of marks on the paintwork where it has been in the bushes greenlaning. But nothing major or worrying. I can be contacted on 007487252355.
