Land Rover series 3, Project, Galvanised chassis, bulkhead

  

Here we have a Land Rover series 3 , 2.5 turbo diesel. Been off the road for a while requiring light commissioning but extremely solid , Id go so far as to say rot free.

CHASSIS is galvanised and in beautiful order. BULKHEAD and front panel are also galvanised and other then paint required no work needed that I can see. Started life as a 2-25 petrol and is now a 2.5 turbo diesel (pre 200tdi). ENGINE starts and sounds nice how ever the wiring is in need of sorting , i would start again and re-loom it if Im honest.

Has no feed to glow plugs and its had various repairs over the years. DOORS are all very useable and solid , passenger door top fairly new , driverside will want replacing. BODYWORK is how I like it quite staight but has character with the odd mark and dig but really nothing major , genuinely very straight. Depending on what you want this little Land Rover is a very easy renovation or if you want a usable rot free example with a little TLC you can. Brakes are very poor and are ok for loading or moving around a farm yard but thats about it. This Land Rover is a superb base for the above but I dont have time. To many projects and a young family would suggest Im not going to get around to doing it. Because its had a galvanised chassis and bulkhead DVLA put it on a Q plate and registered as 1994. There is also the option of a 200tdi complete engine which can be negotiated in the deal if required. There is also a few spares to go with it.
