Land Rover Series 3 Safari County Station Wagon 109 Petrol 1971
Land Rover Series 3 109 Safari. One complete early Series 3 Safari (December 1971) for restoration. Bought as a project - the stark reality is that I will never get around to doing it! It is all there - the dashboard has been removed to weld the footwells, and is in a box in the back.
The mid section seats are not with the car. The engine is a 2.25 petrol unit. It spins over fine, but I have not had it running. The plan was to fully strip and rebuild in any case.
The chassis has plenty of rot in it. Rolls and steers without issue. Getting rare, getting more valuable - but now sadly, getting in my way!
