Original Land Rover series 3 safari for sale. Here is my series 3 Land Rover for sale, I have owned the vehicle for the past 18 months and has been in daily use. This is a regretful sale since I have bought a newer 110.

I have reconditioned the cylinder head (valves re-seated, valve stem oil seals, skimmed, new injectors, pressure tested, etc) and fit a full set of pistons, rings and bottom end shells. I have welded the chassis up (which is original) and is now in solid condition.

The bulkhead is in good condition overall apart from a bit of surface rust and a small hole in the passenger foot well as shown. Overdrive fitted (is a bit nosie over 60mph).

And generally kept in road worthy condition. I drove the old lass from north of Leeds to Dover and back in a day last month with no defects. I've been up to the top of Scotland as well, again with no problems even though its 34years old. I have used it for commuting, farming, holidays, social and it has never let me down. With this Landy being a safari diesel model made in 1982 it's quite rare, and unlike most that age it hasn't been modified making it great for USA EXPORT.
