Land Rover Series 3 SWB 88 11 months MOT 1973 Historic Vehicle

  

For sale - my Land Rover Series 3 2.5L Turbo Diesel SWB 88. 11 months MOT, valid until 28 March 2019 - no advisories. Engine upgrade to a 2.5 Turbo Diesel in 1998 (original receipt as proof), with working high and low range 4x4 ratios. A little smoky on a cold start, but soon clears Mileage on clock says 26,853. Assume that has gone around once.

Land Rover Marine Blue body, with Land Rover Limestone roof and wheels. Solid chassis, recently cleaned and prepared with weather-coat underseal see photos. Small evidence of welding, however neatly done.

No advisories on MOT for chassis or rear cross-member. Good tread on all four tyres Original steering wheel. 3 front row seats, 2 high backs (see photos). Slight wear and tear on dashboard, as is normal for this age of vehicle.

Front foot-wells in good condition. Recently replaced rear floor, covered by fitted rubber matting, which can be removed when needing a clean. All locks on doors work. Capping all original and clean. This is a very clean and tidy example of a classic Series 3 truck, both inside and out.

The original look has been maintained over the years. It has everything a Land Rover enthusiast would be looking for, and is fully road worthy. It is currently used regularly for a 5 mile round trip, so hasnt been sat on a drive seizing up. Shes ready to be driven away and enjoyed by new owners. Please be aware this is vehicle 45 years old , so please expect a "not perfect" state when it comes to body work. This is reflected in the asking price.
