Land Rover series 3 SWB 88

Driven under it's own steam to my local welder last year. Rear chassis needs properly doing not patching up and lots of other jobs making this a running project for its new owner. Was planning on this being my summer project but work went crazy so never got around to it. We tried to get it started to move it in the yard a few days ago, brakes were seized (now removed) and so was the clutch and with fuel also pissing Out the carb it was not safe to drive it so we pushed the bugger.

If you want detail on Mot fails go to. For many years the previous owner had very few miles in it as he couldn't steer the bloody thing on flat tyres, we'd kept him driving as long as we could though but now sadly he's passed away. I have v5 in my name, keys and thats it. Underneath it needs work, body panels are ok but bent in places, see pics, engine was running really nice, not tappety.

Over drive and gears did all work as did the free wheeling hubs and up until being parked up so did the brakes and clutch. Vehicle securely parked up in GL5, 10 mins from Junction 13 M5. On that note no one has sat in the vehicle this weekend.

52 mies since last MOT liste below. Offside Obligatory mirror damaged, but not seriously affecting the rear view (8.1.2a). Both rear chassis members starting to corroed. Offside front bump stop not secure.
