Land Rover Series 3 SWB petrol Unfinished project

  
Here is a Land Rover Series 3 SWB petrol 2.25 with all holes in the chassis repaired, that I was in the process of rescuing, however unfortunately life has got in the way. I have finished the chassis and it is hole free and very strong! Same story with the bulkhead. Lot of new parts inc parabolic springs and electronic ignition! Of course the body work needs finishing and the interior needs to be sorted. Its in a perfectly running and driving condition charging system works mechanically it is perfect. V5 and lots of Paperwork INC.

Best way is too list all the work that has been carried out/the parts replaced. Chassis perfect and fully welded + plus a new rear cross member + bulkhead has been done with new mounts and footwells. New parabolic springs up front plus good used ones in the rear.

Electronic ignition (starts every time). All new brakes from master cylinder to brake shoes and all the lines in between. Engine is a good 3 bearing unit that was acquired to replace the old 5 bearing that was not in good condition.

Radiator cleaned and new water pump on the engine+thermostat. New coil, leads, cap, rotor and of course plugs.

High output alternator from a 200tdi. All new steering from rebuilt box to new ball joints. Mostly new hardware (nuts and bolts). Brand new clutch and pressure plate! New drive shaft in the rear and the front one has has its joints replaced.

Of course the body work is in need of sorting however some people think it actually looks good, but is a good canvas to do whatever you want really. I have the dash disassembled but all parts will be included in sale. And inc nearly new seats. Needs a wiring loom as the old one had caught on fire and was no good. Itll be sad to see it go however Ive got too many other projects plus work to do this one the justice it deserves.

Would make an excellent project for someone just starting out as all the welding work is finished. Any questions Ill get back to you as soon as I can!
