Land Rover Series 3 V8 3,500cc

  

Here is my 1983 Series 3 Short Wheel Base 88 - V8, 3,500cc Land Rover in Nato Green which I have owned for the last 8 years. My Landy has been modified, so not for the purest, but a very good Landy that is a real head turner.

It has a straight through exhaust with a cherry bomb which sounds amazing (will post video later). This is a rapid LandRover and is so much fun.

I always remove the hood and sticks in late spring and then have a fabulously fun convertible for the spring/summer months. In the winter the canvas is back on and it will go anywhere in any conditions. I can honestly say I have never owned a vehicle that has had so much attention - a real head-turner. I have included various photos to show with and without the tilt, but you will see the most recent with the four wheel arches. 12 months MOT with no advisories.

3,500cc V8 210 bhp Engine. SU Carbs with auto choke.

3.5 inch Lift Parabolic Springs. Tyres are 33 inch x 12.5 inch Maxis Buckshot Mudders. Wheels are 15x10 inch Rims.

Full Black Canvas Tilt (hole at the back corner). Bikini Black Hood for the summer showers. Bench seats in the rear. Chasis is good shape and has had some welding over the years to keep it up to scratch. Tilt has hole in the top rear section due to a pesky wasp nest, but still in good shape and could be patched but doesn't both me.
