5 Weddings and a Mayday - yes this Lady has been very popular wedding car for friends and family because of its character although it may well have done 6 weddings, we have lost count. It is a very complete, well cared for and original Land Rover that has managed to escape any degrading modifications (no checker plate rash etc). It even has its original radio. Great fun to own and drive, puts a smile on everyones face and attracts a fair bit of attention. During our ownership it has had a comprehensive chassis-up rebuild including. Replaced brake lines, brake drums, shoes and cylinders.

New Exmoor Trim Canvas Hood (2016). Uprated heavy duty rear diff. New Clutch and save cylinder (2018).

New rear shaft seal (2018). New gearbox, transfer box and dive oils (2018). New Exhaust Front Section (2018) (a new rear section is also available). Probably the best series engine. 2 1/4 L petrol engine.

Lots of torque and hugely reliable. Always starts and runs well. Smooth gear changes and 4x4 high and low all good. Has been an excellent vehicle during snowy winters, helping tow out many stranded friends. Showing all of its 44 years of life with scratches, dents and thinning paint.

It would be easy to repaint but we love its natural aged patina. The chassis could now do with a fresh coat of Dinitrol, but we have left it untreated so that it can easily be seen.
