Land Rover Series Ammeter / Fuel Gauge
Instrument set with a separate Ammeter was fitted to Series 1, 2 & 2A vehicles up to Suffix'B. These early gauges with the Ammeter are becoming increasingly hard to find and very often they are difficult to remove easily from the instrument panel. Often with vehicles that have stood for a considerable time before eventually being broken up, the threads on the 3 bolts get badly rusted, and it makes removal difficult. The picture shows the knurled nuts removed, to show that they are in good condition. The instrument also has provision for a High Beam warning light.
This item comes with the 3 brackets and knurled nuts that secure the cluster to the instrument panel.
