Land Rover Series III (3) 1973 88 Canvas Hood

  
For Sale a 1973 Land Rover Series III, 88 wheelbase with canvas hood. The pictures tell a 1000 words but brief description. Full nut and bolt rebuild in 2014 - covered less than 100 miles since, a real stunner in as close to original condition as you will find. No fancy mods, wide wheels, checker plate etc.

This is close to how it left the factory 45 years ago. No signs of rust on bulkhead, chassis and usual places (there is some slight bubbling on bottom of doors - it has not broken the paint). The car was totally resprayed in 2014 as part of the restoration, if you were being picky there are some blemishes in paint on front wings and bonnet - has never bothered me but if you wanted concourse, cutting compound would probably bring it back to perfect. 5 bearing 2.3l petrol engine starts first time every time, no smoke from exhaust and pulls like a train through all gears. Canvas roof that can be removed in minutes to give full open top driving.

All pictures taken last weekend - not at time of restoration. It is not to reserve the vehicle until you can come and take a look.
