Land Rover series swb 2A 1964, mot and on the road, 2.5n/a diesel engine

  

CASH ON COLLECTION FOR THIS VEHICLE.. Land Rover swb series 2A mot till next april, this is used regular and drives ok, for a 50year old landy, the chassis is solid throughout, and does not need any welding, i think it has had a replacement chassis in the past judging by its condition, the fuel tank is alloy and the gauge works, the body has a few scrapes and scuffs but is to be expected for its age, and it could do with a respray, i have a tin of land rover green to go with it, this is originally a petrol but there is a 2.5n/a diesel engine fitted which smokes a bit on start up and pulls good, i also have the original petrol engine to go with it, if you want to put it back original, it still says petrol on the log book, the gearbox works good as does the rest of the transmission, it also has free wheeling hubs, as you may see I have put a rare set of 1ton wide steel wheels on it, the tyres have good tread but some of the walls are a bit worn, i do have the original wheels to go with it, the inside has its original features with separate wiper motors, original dash, and a very good and working smiths heater, and good seats,, all in all this is a 50 year old land rover so don't expect comfort from these, they are agricultural to say the least, if you own one or have had an old land rover you would know what I mean,, this would be an ideal investment for the future, if I had the room I would wrap this up and keep it, until another day.. We are 20 miles north of Swansea on the A483 easy to find..
