I'm absolutely devastated to have to sell my much loved Lightweight "The Badger". This is/ was the car of my childhood dreams, I had such big plans for her but family and life has demanded that I spend the rest of life miserable. So the Badger is a 1972 air transportable 24V FFR.

With the 2 1/4 Petrol. If you're looking for head turning cool as an Eskimo tush, Smillie a minuet then your in the right place.

This is a roiling project i. E the car has an MOT and is drivable. So can be used, I do daily. Issues that I know of. The fuel gauge isn't working, I trip the odometer every time I fill up and I know I need to fill up quick when I get to 100miles.

Only one fuel tank fitted on the passenger side. But I have replaced the water pump, thermostat and all the hoses. I did the head gasket this year as well. Some of the welding that was carried out by the previous owner needs removing and re doing. I wanted to replace the brake pipes at some point as they are showing signed of corrosion.

Bumper cut down but I have all the parts to re weld back and re fit. Horn not working not an issue I just shout at people I find this a much more personal approach.

As all good Land Rovers like todo she does like to sent her spot with a little make. Fresh coat of paint I used Hempl boat paint.

I'm not going to re paint before sale. As you might want a different colour. Drivers seat is bad news replacing and the passenger seat was a rip. New doors top and bottom, I still have the old if you want them. Hard top roof with cat flap door really good for winter and so easy to swop over to the canvas.

Canvas roof compleat however canvas could do with some attention it's thinking in places a bit like me. Full set of 5 original wheels and tyres so if you want to put her back as original it won't take much.

Set of 4 steel 16 rims with Cooper Discoverer SST tyres. Less than a year old. Still has most of the FFR kit in the back. Dicky seats in the back I bought the proper conversion brackets for them just not had time to fit.

I also have the original FFR seats. NATO tow hitch on the front. Fully adjustable tow hitch on the rear (no electrics).

I have the paint for the chassis I will try and get this painted this week. Re registered on an age related number plate. I have some of her history but unfortunately DVLA the wizards they are lost all my original documents when I was applying for the age related number plate. I can tell you she served with Royal Artillery Commandos. As Iv said this is a rolling project she's in need of some love but over all a really good solid project that wont take a lot. I think this is an ideal advertising vehicle. For a shop, attraction or garage as she is a real head turner. Any inspection & test drive welcome.

Just don't turn up and think I'm going to giving her away. Any questions message me or call 07792493605. The item "Lightwaight Land Rover Series 3" is in sale since Thursday, September 28, 2017.
