Here for sale is my very original 109 series 3 Land Rover in very good condition. Registered in 1981, MOT'd and ready to go. This vehicle has had thousands spent on it particularly in the last few years.

There has also been a lot more expenditure on this vehicle for which there are no bills. Since this time the Land Rover has had. New turner unleaded cylinder head. Two new doors and tops with recent window felt channels. Plugs, leads, cap, condenser, points.

New battery in 2012 which is still very good. All gauges and lights work well. A new brake light switch fitted today! The Smiths heater works and blows HOT AIR- unbelievable really but true! The engine is a very smooth quiet example burning very clean.

Does not smoke or rattle at all. Gearbox is good with no jumping out of gear- only slight issue is a worn hub on second gear but it does select fine at low speeds- for higher speeds it is necessary to double-de-clutching which is second nature to me and should be to most people involved in old Land Rovers. It's nothing that bothers me so I'd personally not bother to repair it unless the gearbox came out for a more serious reasons.

There is a very very minor oil leak (front part of engine) but definitely not worth dealing with. Chassis and bulkhead are very solid and no issues at all to worry about.

Panel work is good and straight. Mainly original paint with natural wear and blemishes. The two new doors have been painted with a roller but still presents well - At least the are new so things like the paint can be dealt with easily or just left as is. Brakes are servo assisted and are absolutely spot on- much better than most series Land Rovers I have driven. Four matching Victoria tyres- All four tyres are good with plenty of tread. The spare is ok and has good tread but some minor cracks. Nice and clean under the bonnet- will add photos later. This Land Rover come with a starting handle, jack and the hoops for the rear tilt- hoops are in very good order. A handful of new and useful spares including a brand new water pump.
