Series 2 land rover

  

Here I'm offering for sale my 1960 Series 2 88 inch rebuild project. I have owned it for over 2 years but have only recently dismantled it to the rolling chassis you see.

Engine was running up until the strip down, drove it home when I bought it and all worked as it should. Comes complete with all body panels as shown in some of the photos and also comes with a Fairey Overdrive and Freewheeling hubs.

Have quite a few Receipts for work done by the previous owner including a brand new clutch and a reconditioned gearbox. Does require a full restoration such as suspension, bulkhead, Chassis repairs etc.

You are more than welcome to get in touch with any questions, I should add that the Number plate is non transferable as the original one was kept by the previous owner. Don't particularly want to sell it but we've decided to re build my early 90 instead.
