Series 2a Land Rover 1967

  

Land Rover series 2a swb 1967 fully restored with. Marslands galvanised heavy duty chassis. Very good series 2 front panel, wings, apron panel, deep sills.

Excellent tub, seat box, roof, sides, cat flap upper tail gate and lower tail gate. Doors are 100% solid with anti burst locks. Door tops are also 100% solid. Inside it has 3 new front seats. It is fitted with thick rubber flooring. The engine is a 2 1/4 petrol, fitted with an oil cooler and electronic. Ignition and it has a lovely gearbox. The brakes have been rebuilt, with new. Cylinders where needed and new brake shoes all round. Also a servo has been. The front axle is from a lwb model, for better brakes and has l. Eather swivel gators The rear axle is a'sailsbury' axle.

Suspension has been overhauled, with new shackles fitted, a new rear leaf. The dampers are as new.

All the body seals have been. Tub to side seals, sides to roof seals, tail gate seals, door. Seals (replaced using defender seals as much better), windscreen to bulkhead. Seal and windscreen to roof seal.

The steering box has also been replaced. With a 100% good one. Front lights are upgraded halogen ones, much better as you can actually see. In the dark with them! All the other light fittings have been replaced with.

New wiper arms and blades. Also a new wiring loom has been. It is fitted with a series 3 bulkhead which is 100% solid and no rust. I preferred this for a better heater. All the oils and fluids have been changed, the oil filter changed. Air filter bath cleaned and re-oiled.

It is sprayed with bronze green with some marks etc which are to be expected. The mileage is genuine - 75742. It's a hybrid but will last forever - a labour of love with input from experts!!!
