Series 3 Land Rover

  

1978 LAND ROVER SERIES 3 88in. For sale my partly restored Series 3 which I now havent sufficient time to finish off. It smokes slightly so needs tuning. The gearbox and axles are fine.

The brakes have a decent pedal but will need checking. The restoration work carried out so far includes the following. The chassis has been repaired and has had a new rear cross member. The bulkhead has been repaired. The chassis, bulkhead and axles have been primed and re-painted.

New shock absorbers and springs have been fitted complete with U bolts and shackle pins. New rear tub support bars and floor. All body panels in pretty good order. It has a Fairey manual overdrive and brand new 750 x 16 mud and snow General Grabber tyres on Wolf wheels.
