Toylander 2 electric powered Land Rover Series 2 in NATO green

  
Finally decided to sell my Toylander 2 Land Rover series 2. It was a wonderful project to do, making it for my two sons, but unfortunately now they are older and space is becoming a premium its time to sell it.

They have had so much fun driving it round and it's certainly the coolest toy most of our friends have ever seen. You can't help but smile as you drive it, or they do, and it's so much better than the low powered plastic ride-on toys.

It was built using genuine Toylander plans and metal fabrication parts, using marine grade MDF, sealed and painted in Nato deep bronze green. The 2x12v motors supplied by Toylander are run from the Toylander speed controller driving Toylander Town and Country tyres so everything is as genuine as possible, right down to the metal bumper. This gives it the strength and the power to drive over uneven terrain with confidence, just like a real Land Rover. The front seat folds down (see photos) for larger kids or adults and the rear tailgate opens.

The metal bonnet it held down with replica straps, from Toylander again, and it has a floating front axle for uneven terrain. The only element missing compared to some models is the windscreen which I chose not to put on. It has a mainpower key (red one), for safety, as well as two starting keys (one for each of my boys). It operates from a single pedal which can be adjusted to limit the speed and a brake pedal to stop.

It also has a handbrake. It will happily run at around 6 8 mph with up to 4 kids or even a couple of adults in it and at 36Ah the batteries have plenty of life to give you a great range.

Weve taken it out for 2-3 hours driving no problem. The lights are for show only but the side lights/indicators are genuine Land Rover parts. The only signs of wear are the slight discolouration of some of the metal and a crease on the front wing.

This is an absolute must for any Land Rover fan with kids, I know, I was one! Im happy to answer any questions to please feel free to contact me. Due to the size Ive listed it as collection only but I would be happy to consider transporting in my trailer a reasonable distance for a fair cost per mile. UPDATE - It's been highlighted that this is actually a Series 1 model not a Series 2. Doesn't affect the nature of the item but it's just I got the style wrong.
